Welcome to the web page for the 2015 Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP, pronounced "cue-wip") hosted by Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey!

This meeting was one of eight coordinated by the American Physical Society (APS) that will take place from Friday, January 16 through the afternoon of Sunday, January 18, 2015 (over the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday weekend). The APS CUWiP goal is to help undergraduate women continue in physics by providing them with a professional conference experience, information about graduate school and professions in physics, and access to other women in physics of all ages with whom they can share experiences, advice, and ideas. In exchange for a modest ($25) fee, participants were provided with food, lodging, local transportation, and a terrific program of physics-related talks, discussions, and other activities. (Support for travel to and from Rutgers was generally provided by students' home institutions, although the APS CUWiP organizers did have a limited amount of travel funding that could have been requested if necessary.)

On this web page, you can find information about programmatic and logistical aspects of the meeting we hosted at Rutgers. You can also learn about our seven partner conferences at the following links:

To be accepted to any of these meetings, you first needed to submit an online application before Friday, October 31, 2014. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!

Sincerely yours,
